Jenny Schulz, DC

Dr. Jenny Schulz has been with Acu-Chiropractic since December 2009. She received her Chiropractic Education from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. She earned her undergraduate biology degree from St. Cloud State University. She became a co-owner of the clinic in October 2022.

Dr. Jenny’s chiropractic focus includes headaches, sport injuries, auto and worker’s compensation. Dr. Jenny is Certified in Acupuncture and is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner®. She is also certified in Graston Technique®, Cupping and Kinesiotaping.

Dr. Jenny loves to work with athletes and dancers to help with training goals and preparing for an event or race. She can provide athletes with not only chiropractic benefits for their spine, but extremities as well. Graston Technique® and Kinesiotaping are very useful tools to get athletes back to their activities quickly so they don’t lose important time training. Sports nutrition advice is also very important for being able to maintain and exceed goals while training.

Dr. Jenny grew up in the Eagan and Apple Valley area. She, her husband and sons live in Apple Valley. In her time away from the clinic, Dr. Jenny enjoys gardening, kayaking and SUP boarding, the performing arts and hockey.

Ross Rath, DC

Dr. Ross Rath joined Acu-Chiropractic in January of 2021. He received his chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Ross obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology at the Minnesota State University of Moorhead. Dr. Ross’s chiropractic focus includes soft tissue rehabilitation, extremity care, Kinesiotaping, Graston technique, cupping, and sports injuries. He is also certified in Acupuncture.

Dr. Ross enjoys working with all age groups and has various experiences working with shoulder, knee, and foot rehab. He also has experience in sports training and enjoys working with athletes to ensure peak performance, whether it’s on the field, court, or wrestling mat.

Dr. Ross grew up in a small farm town in central Minnesota called Belgrade. He currently lives in Eagan with his wife and two beagles. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, fishing, spending time with family, going to movies, and watching sports. Ask him about the Vikings, farming, or great places to hike! Dr. Ross became co-owner of the clinic in Oct 2022.

Scott Sammon, DC

After 30 years of dedicated service, Dr. Sammon has announced their retirement, marking the end of an exceptional career in chiropractic. Dr. Sammon’s expertise, commitment, and passion have had an immeasurable impact on Acu-Chiropractic Wellness Center, PA and the countless individuals they have worked with over the years. Throughout his career, Dr. Sammon has been a pillar of knowledge and a mentor to all our doctors.

As Dr. Sammon enters this new chapter of life, we extend our deepest gratitude for his years of hard work, innovation, and service. We will greatly miss his presence, but we are excited for him as he embarks on this well-earned next phase of his journey.

Laura Frerich, DC

Dr. Laura Frerich joined Acu-Chiropractic Wellness Center in 2007. She received her chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and completed her undergraduate work at Concordia University, St. Paul.

Dr. Laura enjoys treating patients of all ages with a special focus on families and auto and worker’s compensation injuries. She has additional training in pregnancy and pediatric care, craniosacral therapy, extremity adjusting, cupping, and kinesiotaping. Dr. Laura is also certified in acupuncture and Graston soft tissue mobilization technique. She primarily uses Diversified, Thompson Drop Table, and Activator techniques to give her patients the best possible care that is tailored to their individual needs. She strives to model an active, healthy, and balanced life and tries to encourage her patients to live their best life as well.

Dr. Laura grew up in northern Wisconsin and currently lives in Lakeville with her husband and three children. In her time away from the clinic she loves to spend time with her family, watch her kids’ sports activities, and find ways to stay active outdoors.

Kaitlyn Harrington, DC

Dr. Kaitlyn grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, and moved to the Twin Cities to pursue higher education in health care. She received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the University of St. Thomas. Furthering her education, she obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic with Sports & Rehabilitation Emphasis at Northwestern Health Sciences University.

Her passion for health and wellness began when she was young and participated in sports. She enjoyed playing softball and was a figure skater for eight years. Chiropractic care had a profound and positive impact on her athletic performance. It inspired her to pursue a career in the field, where she can now provide the same positive benefits to her patients.

Along with extensive training in soft tissue work, Graston technique, and rehabilitation exercises, Dr. Kaitlyn is certified in Functional And Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation (FAKTR) and Chiropractic Acupuncture, allowing her to provide comprehensive treatment options for her patients. She specializes in treating athletes with experience in basketball, track, baseball, and softball. Dr. Kaitlyn enjoys working with patients of all ages and is enthusiastic about sharing her passion for optimal health and well-being.

Outside of work, Dr. Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her friends and family, attending sporting events (especially the Twins!), staying active, and trying new restaurants around the Twin Cities.

Karen Elorduy, LMT

Karen earned her A.A.S. in massage therapy at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and has a previous B.S. degree in Marine Biology. She is an American Massage Therapy Association member, kinesiology taping practitioner, and is finishing her neuromuscular therapy certification. She is experienced in deep tissue, trigger point, and craniosacral techniques, cupping massage, acupressure, gua sha, and sports and rehabilitative massage. Karen has practiced in low resource clinics, non-profits, oncology massage clinics, and sports clinics working hand in hand with other health care providers. Karen is interested in working and helping with chronic pain and post injury-surgery rehab and helping in the underserved communities. Karen is a true believer in self body healing and alternative/integrative care and loves to learn new techniques to prepare individual treatment plans. She is looking forward to adding orthopedic massage and reflexology to her set of skills. Karen is passionate about science, research, human anatomy, kinesiology, and rehabilitative massage. Karen is originally from Puerto Rico and enjoys the changing seasons and long days of summer, urban art, music concerts, nature, the beach (saltwater), dogs, travel, and quality time with friends and family.

Madison Nightingale, LMT

Madison is a Licensed Massage Therapist who joined the Acu-Chiropractic team in February of 2024. Madison is from Georgia originally but moved up to Minnesota in 2020. She specializes in clinical based massage with trigger point therapy, sports and injury recovery, and prenatal massage. She graduated from Northwestern Health Science University in 2023 with an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Massage and is a certified neuromuscular therapist. As a fan of all things spooky, she collects scary movies and related memorabilia. She also has developed a passion for gardening alongside her husband and 6-year-old daughter whom she is very close with. She has 2 lively cats, and one shy slithery snake which completes her active household. When she isn’t playing video games or exploring make-up designs, she travels around the county as a wedding photographer.

Katie Rutkowski, LMT

Katie earned a Bachelor of Athletic Training from MSU- Mankato in 2011 and worked as a licensed athletic trainer in physical therapy and orthopedic clinics until returning to school in 2015. At that time, she earned a degree in Massage Therapy from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, MN and subsequently passed the national Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) in 2016. Katie has experience working as a massage therapist in chiropractic clinics, acupuncture clinics and spa settings. She is trained in classic Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, pin and stretch, PNF, Graston technique, gua sha and cupping. Katie is interested in treating chronic headaches, neck tension, shoulder pain and glute/hip pain. She is very passionate about anatomy and kinesiology and utilizing that knowledge to provide the most effective and individualized treatment possible for each patient. Her favorite part of being a massage therapist is getting to meet people from all walks of life and listening to their individual stories and needs. She is looking forward to taking continuing education in myofascial release and craniosacral therapy. Katie is an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). When not working, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, son and chocolate lab. She tries to spend as much time as possible outside (bonus if it’s at the lake!), is an avid gardener and loves to cook.
